They have implemented regulatory measures to facilitate and govern the use of cryptocurrencies within its borders. The city of Chiang, Mai has see growing community of cryptocurrency enthusiasts, investors, and businesses that accept cryptocurrencies as a form of payment. Some cafes, restaurants, hotels, and online stores in Chiang Mai may accept cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin as a payment option. Additionally, there are cryptocurrency-focused events, meetups, and conferences that take place in the city.
Company DAYDREAM has created just that. DAYDREAM Is a web 3 brand created by Serena Elis. A Entrepreneur, Singer, Metaverse Performer who has been in the depths of web 3 since 2020. She Discovered Decentraland during the pandemic of March 2020, and invested about $75 dollars worth of Mana at the time, just close to about .018 Cents.
After discovering its potential, she decided to enter into the virtual game, purchase digital real estate and build her brand on top of it. She hasn't left since. The meetup attendees come from a diverse background in careers, ethnicities and backgrounds. The meetup was a success, as attendees asked questions and are interested in creating their own projects within Decentraland. Serena Elis will continue to host events, and bring more education and awareness of Decentraland and the power of the Metaverse.
